1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting content to JAIGP, creating an account, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our platform policies.
2. Content Responsibility
Important Notice:
You are solely responsible for all content you submit to JAIGP. This includes, but is not limited to, papers, abstracts, comments, metadata, and any other materials you upload or share on this platform.
As a content submitter ("Prompter"), you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to submit all content you upload to JAIGP
- Your content does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Your content does not contain defamatory, libelous, or otherwise unlawful material
- Your content does not contain private or confidential information belonging to others without proper authorization
- You have obtained all necessary permissions and releases for any content that includes references to, or data from, third parties
3. AI-Generated Content Disclosure
JAIGP is specifically designed for AI-generated or AI-assisted research papers. By submitting content, you acknowledge that:
- You must accurately disclose all AI systems involved in content generation
- You must provide accurate information about AI models, versions, and their roles
- You remain responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before submission
- You are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content complies with all applicable laws and ethical standards
4. Platform Liability Disclaimer
Limitation of Liability:
JAIGP PROVIDES THIS PLATFORM "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. JAIGP, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND CONTRIBUTORS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR:
- The accuracy, completeness, or quality of user-submitted content
- Any errors, omissions, or misrepresentations in submitted papers
- Any intellectual property infringement by user-submitted content
- Any harm, damage, or loss resulting from reliance on content published on JAIGP
- Any disputes between users or between users and third parties
- Any legal claims arising from user-submitted content
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JAIGP, its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Any content you submit to JAIGP
- Your use or misuse of the platform
6. Content License and Rights
By submitting any content to JAIGP — including but not limited to papers, abstracts, community prompts, discussion posts, comments, endorsements, votes, and any other user-contributed material — you grant JAIGP and its users a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and worldwide license to:
- Use, reproduce, display, distribute, and make your content available on the JAIGP platform and through any medium now known or later developed
- Modify, adapt, excerpt, transform, and create derivative works from your content for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the journal
- Allow users to download, read, cite, and share your content
- Create archival copies for preservation purposes
- Sublicense your content to third-party services used in the operation of JAIGP, including but not limited to AI review services, hosting providers, and analytics tools
- Use your content for research, analytics, AI model training, and creative or promotional purposes in connection with JAIGP
You retain all ownership rights to your content. JAIGP does not claim ownership of your submissions.
6a. AI Processing of Content
By using JAIGP, you acknowledge and agree that your content may be processed by AI systems as part of the journal's operations. This includes:
- AI Screening: Paper titles and abstracts are sent to Anthropic's Claude for automated quality screening upon submission
- AI Review: Submitted PDFs, author names, and email addresses are sent to Reviewer3.com for AI-powered peer review
- AI Summarization: Community prompts and discussion posts may be summarized using Anthropic's Claude to help users navigate the platform
These AI services may retain content in accordance with their own terms and policies. JAIGP uses these services to operate the review pipeline and improve the user experience.
7. Content Moderation and Removal
JAIGP reserves the right, but has no obligation, to:
- Monitor, review, or moderate user-submitted content
- Remove or refuse to publish any content that violates these Terms
- Remove content in response to valid legal requests or court orders
- Suspend or terminate user accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms
Content removal does not eliminate your responsibility for that content or any consequences arising from its publication.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Attempt to circumvent platform security measures
- Use automated systems to submit content without authorization
- Submit spam, advertising, or promotional content disguised as research
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
8a. Prohibited Use of Platform Information
JAIGP publishes its development prompts, source code, and operational details in the spirit of transparency and open science. This openness is not an invitation to exploit, attack, or undermine the platform. You agree not to:
- Probe for vulnerabilities — Use information from the prompt archive, source code, API documentation, or any other publicly available material to identify, test, or exploit security vulnerabilities in the platform, its infrastructure, or its third-party integrations
- Sabotage or disrupt — Use knowledge of the platform's architecture, review pipeline, screening criteria, or operational processes to sabotage, circumvent, game, or degrade the journal's systems or processes
- Manipulate the review process — Use information about the AI screening prompts, review criteria, or scoring thresholds to craft submissions designed to exploit or bypass quality controls rather than contribute genuine research
- Harvest or weaponize data — Scrape, collect, or aggregate prompt data, user information, or operational details for the purpose of attacking, cloning in bad faith, or competing unfairly with JAIGP
- Social engineering — Use information about the platform's users, administrators, infrastructure, or operations obtained through the prompt archive or other public materials to conduct social engineering, phishing, or impersonation attacks
- Denial of service — Use knowledge of the platform's endpoints, rate limits, or resource constraints to conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise intentionally overload the system
- Reputational attacks — Deliberately misrepresent, distort, or selectively quote the prompt archive, development history, or operational details to damage the reputation of JAIGP, its contributors, or its users
Violation of these provisions may result in immediate account termination, permanent ban from the platform, and referral to appropriate legal authorities. JAIGP reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies against individuals or entities that use platform information to attack, sabotage, or undermine the journal.
9. Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on JAIGP infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with:
- A description of the copyrighted work or intellectual property
- The location (URL) of the allegedly infringing content
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature
10. Privacy and Data
Your use of JAIGP is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. We use ORCID authentication to verify user identities.
11. Modifications to Terms
JAIGP reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of JAIGP after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
JAIGP may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform immediately ceases.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.
